Professional Development Professional Development has been defined in a variety of ways. Family Economics & Financial Education offers a wide-range of professional development opportunities for educators. Our no-cost curriculum materials, newsletters and full-time support staff compliment the outstanding curriculum training educators may attend. It is the project’s desire to offer a broad array of professional development opportunities that correspond to the professional development goals of educators and their school systems. The Master Teacher Program is another aspect of FEFE professional development FEFE. Master teachers provide ongoing guidance to the project through curriculum editing and development, support newly trained educators, and conduct educational sessions at the week-long national training. In addition to the FEFE Master Teacher Program, the project has formed a partnership with Family, Career and Community Leaders of America to create the FCCLA & FEFE Master Teacher Program. FEFE understands the importance of low-cost quality training seminars. The project’s exceptional training equips participants with the materials, skills and knowledge required to teach the curriculum. Additionally, educators have the opportunity to network with other professionals. Training sessions are lead by FEFE staff members and master teachers, and professionals in the field.
